Irri, til; gur sharply up in slow trade on grain market

Thin business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as most of the participants were on the sidelines due to lack of buying interest, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type picked up Rs 105 to Rs 3280 and best type gained Rs 110 to Rs 3310, Irri-white broken low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2725 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 2750, they said.
On the seed side til was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3800-4200, cottonseeds oilcake with bag followed same pattern, rising Rs 10 to Rs 1270-1290, they added. On the cereal side gur inferior quality was up by Rs 200 to Rs 6800 while the good type held the overnight level at Rs 7500, they said.
