Message from Ambassador

The 2nd day of December marks an important event in the history of the UAE by all aspects. This blessed day will live in the memory of the loyal people of the UAE from one generation to another with the advent of the establishment of the Federation.
We, the sons of the Emirates are proud of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates by the founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nayhan (May God rest his soul) who laid the foundation of the state in its current form to take its place among the comity of nations.
His highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, the President of the UAE is carrying forward the legacy of Sheikh Zayed to further build the human resources. The achievements of our beloved country in a short span of time are some of the great miracles of this century but this is only the beginning. Steered by wise leadership, our objectives and ambitions have no limits.
On this auspicious occasion, I extend my congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Rulers of the Emirates and their Crown Princes. We have strong bilateral relations with Pakistan and we are committed to support it at all times.
The social welfare projects set up in Pakistan by the leaders of the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan exceed 250 projects spread all over the country and include a number of hospitals, dispensaries, health care centers, colleges, schools and a university. It also includes building roads, electrification, supplying of water and conservation of Wildlife.
Recently, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayad Al Nahyan Hospital was built in Muzaffarabad, and a similar one in Rawalakot, Kashmir. Sheikh Khalifa City in Balakot for the benefit of earthquake victims is in final phase. The UAE is planning to start new projects in north west regions and other parts of Pakistan which will include building educational institutes, colleges, hospitals, health clinics and water purification plants, repairing of bridges and roads destroyed by the recent floods. I take this opportunity to thank the leadership and people of Pakistan for sharing with us the celebrations on the 39th National Day. We wish the Islamic Republic of Pakistan further progress and prosperity.
