'Kazmi not involved in Haj scam'

The Amir Jamat-e-Ahle-e-Sunnat Pakistan (JAP) Pir Syed Mazhar Saeed Kazmi has said that Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and his younger brother Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi are not involve in corruption in Haj affairs. Mazhar Saeed Kazmi addressing a press conference here at Lahore Press Club was accompanied with Secretary General JAP Allama Riaz Hussain Shah, President Punjab chapter Mufti Iqbal Chisti.
He said Hamid Saeed Kazmi was not involved in appointment of Rao Shakil because all oversees appointment was the discretionary power of Prime Minister. He said Federal Minister Azam Swati, was targeting Hamid Saeed Kazmi unnecessarily and added sectarianism problems may damage the country if government would not control such elements.
He also welcomed the Supreme Court suo motu notice over the corruption in haj affairs and said he would accept the apex court verdict. He also condemned the Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer and Sherry Rehman on their controversial statements regarding the blasphemy law. He appealed the government to avoid any amendments in blasphemy law. He said to maintain law and order in the country and to abolish sectarianism in the country government should call all-religious parties' conference.
