'Economic policies in right direction'

Rector Lahore School of Economics Dr Shahid Amjad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan is passing through difficult times but our economic policies prudent and in right direction with both exchange rate and fiscal deficit is under control. He was addressing the 8th convocation of LSE on Saturday.
The convocation ceremony was held to confer degrees to 1000 students belonging to varied disciplines of BBA (Hons), BSC (Hons), MBA, MSC, MPHIL. He said that Pakistan has most liberal policy regarding foreign exchange. He said after the NFC award provinces would be the beneficiaries of Reformed General Sales Tax because 60 percent of the share of revenue will be given to provinces and 40 percent will be of the provinces while Punjab is the biggest beneficiary of RGST.
