Cultural Day celebrated in a befitting manner

The people of Sindh celebrated a unique cultural day - the "Sindhi Topi, Ajrak Day" on Saturday with befitting manner. The day was aims to highlight the culture of the province as well as the traditional dress, Sindhi Topi and Ajrak.
Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah while talking to APP on the occasion said that we are proud of our culture and marked the day in a befitting manner.
PPP and other political parties decision to celebrate Cultural Day is aimed at strengthening brotherhood and to give message of peace and tranquility, he added.
The Day was also celebrated in all parts of interior Sindh including Khairpur, Kashmore, Kandhkot, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Noushehroferoze. The Day gave the look of a mass celebration as people were found dancing on the famous folk songs. Rallies to mark the day were organised in various cities including Sukkur, Rohri, Pano Aqil, Pir-Jo-Goth, Piryalio, Ahmed Pur, Gambat, Kot Diji, Garhi Yasin, Thull, Khairpur, Kashmore, Kandhkot, Ghotki, Rehrki Shikarpur, Noushehroferoze and other parts of the interior Sindh.
A joint rally of Pakistan Peoples Party, led by local leaders Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) and others was taken out from city point, Sukkur, which passed through various roads and culminated in front of the Sukkur Press Club.
