05 Dec, 2010

Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior leader, Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi has said that Pak Army is vanguard of national solidarity and Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif should abstain from making it controversial.
He said this while talking to the reporters, here on Saturday, after condoling with the bereaved family of Haji Maqsood Butt. Kamil Ali Agha, Mian Munir, Yousaf Ahad Malik, Haji Hanif and other leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.
Elahi said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership's dual face has already been exposed by WikiLeaks, terming Nawaz Sharif an unreliable person. He further said Punjab rulers have already abandoned 'so called' Sasti Roti Scheme and taskforces and various others non-productive schemes, and they are now targeting hospitals. He added that during their regime, they appointed talented persons in hospitals.
On Reformed General Sales Tax (RGST), PML-Q leader said they are with the traders' community and determined to resolve their issues. He was of the view that after imposition of RGST, traders would not be able to continue their businesses. He held federal and provincial governments equally responsible for the 'monster of inflation'.
