The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with Royal Embassy of Belgium arranged Belgium Business Contact Day and a Catalogue Show at its premises on Saturday. The objectives were to promote interaction between the business communities of the two countries and to give boost to two-way trade and joint ventures. Over 1000 Belgian companies took part in catalogue show.
The LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik, Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad, Vice President Sohail Azhar Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan Hans Christian Kint were prominent among the top notch businessmen who took part in this day-long business promotion activity.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Belgium Hans Christian Kint said although trade between the Pakistan and Belgium had been growing steadily over the years but sector-specific efforts are needed to take the volume of two-way trade to desired level.
