In wake of the power crisis being faced by the country, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government would soon achieve a major breakthrough in solar energy sector, official sources said. The sources told APP here Sunday that the integrated solar energy utilisation plan has been inked by the government, in this regard, to provide electricity to masses on cheap rates.
Various projects, at district level, to utilise solar energy were being launched under the plan, the sources said. Under the plan to be launched with the co-operation of the federal government, the people living at far flung areas, including top mountainous region, would be benefited.
