Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) has given "Corporate Excellence Award" to First Habib Modaraba (FHM) in their 27th Corporate Excellence Award ceremony held on 23 November, 2010. This award has been given from the category of Equity Investment Instruments.
Alhamdullilah, for the last 4 consecutive years FHM has been receiving this recognition. So far FHM has secured three Excellence Certificate Awards and one Excellence Trophy Award. No doubt, this is a great achievement not only for FHM but also for entire Modaraba and leasing sector. The recognition of Corporate Excellence Award by MAP acknowledges the strong commitment of FHM for promotion of best business practices and good governance within the FHM while maintaining the financial discipline.
At present the FHM is one of the leading Modaraba within the Modaraba sector. Through judicious administration of funds and sound investment policies, FHM has assembled a very handsome asset base and equity size. FHM is maintaining Highest Equity base and sound profitability within Modaraba sector since last several years. Due to strong financial positions, Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (private) Ltd, (PACRA) has assigned rating scale of AA+ for long term and A1+ for short term. Recently FHM has also secured best performing award "1st Position" from Modaraba Association of Pakistan and "Best Corporate Report Award" from joint committee of ICAP/ICMAP.-PR
