Italian Ambassador to Pakistan called on the Federal Minister for Industries and Production Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani here on Tuesday. According to a press release, Ambassador told the Minister that Italy has already started different developmental projects in flood affected areas of Skardu.
He said that his country is interested in more investment in health, education, housing and agriculture sectors. He stressed the need for revival of Fiat market in Pakistan. He further told that his country intended to set-up a company in Pakistan which would produce material for the construction of houses.
Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani while welcoming the Italian ambassador in his office, said that there are lots of opportunities for investment in Pakistan in health, education, engineering, auto, housing and agriculture sectors. The Pakistan Government and my ministry particularly would extend and assist every kind of help and co-operation in this regard, the press release added. He further stated that there is a lot of scope of mutual joint venture in Sindh Engineering Limited (SEL) and Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) where the base is already set for manufacturing of every kind of latest machinery.-PR
