4,500 families return homes in Orakzai Agency

After improved security situation in Orakzai Agency, some four thousand and five hundred families have returned to their homes under supervision of the government. All the facilities, including free transportation have been provided to dislocated families.
A spokesperson in the Fata Secretariat said that some four thousand and five hundred internally displaced families of conflict-hit areas of Feroz Khel, Uthman Khel and Bezoti tribes returned back to their native village in Orakzai Agency. Government and the political authorities have made all the arrangements for smooth and safe repatriation process.
Free transportation and other essential facilities have also provided to the returning families. Since August 2008, some 700,000 IDPs were fled away from Orakzai Agency due to security situation and majority of IDPs were sheltered with host communities in Kohat, Hangu, and Peshawar districts.
