PML-N hits back at Elahi for allegations

10 Dec, 2010

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has taken strong exception of the baseless allegations of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and said he (Elahi), by issuing misleading statements, is trying to disrupt educational environment of the province.
In a rejoinder over the statement of Pervaiz Elahi, Qadri alleged that during their regime, Elahi did not even spare the education sector and looted billions of rupees of the nation in the name of 'Parha Likha Punjab.' He also alleged that Moonis Elahi grabbed the lands of poor and widows as well as schools and colleges during his father's tenure.
The PML-N leader further said that Chaudhary brothers, who gave the gift of terrorism and lawlessness to the country, are criticising Punjab government, but people are fully aware of the impatience of those giving the culture of plundering and grabbing lands the of poor. He pointed out that the 'mentor' of Chauhdary Brothers - General Musharraf martyred innocent 'Haffaz-e-Quran' in Lal Masjid during his dictatorial rule. He remarked that those (willing to accept) the General ten times as president in the uniform for their rule, should not talk about democracy.
