National Productivity Organisation (NPO) has evolved a three-pronged strategy to cope with today's increasingly competitive environment and achieve the target of economic growth. NPO Chief Executive Officer, Khawaja Mohammad Yousaf stated this while speaking at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), on Thursday.
Yousaf said that NPO is not only increasing liaison with international organisations, but is also focusing on local organisations to ensure better, faster, cheaper and more environment friendly products and services that are essential to achieve economic targets. He informed that a centre of excellence, on the pattern of Singapore Centre of Excellence, is also being established in Lahore, while two international programmes for the capacity building of various sectors are being conducted in the city.
