Clash between two ethnic groups

Incident of violence, sparked by armed clash between two ethnic groups, left two persons including an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wounded at Shah Faisal town on Monday.
According to Police sources and eye-witnesses, the area fell into strong grip of tension as two ethnic groups, belonging to Awami National Party (ANP) and MQM, scuffled on the issue of burning pole-mounted banner of MQM at Natha Khan Bridge, which left two persons injured and caused gridlock at all adjacent arteries of the area.
When contacted Shad Ibn-e-Masi, SP Shah Faisal town, said that the skirmish between two ethnic groups was erupted when a banner of MQM mounted at a signboard of Natha Khan Bridge was burnt. He said the situation is now in control and roads are opened for traffic. Furthermore, he said that two persons, sustained bullets on their upper torsos, were identified as Danish, an activist of MQM and Waqas.
