COMMECS Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences organised Inter-class Quiz Competition on Saturday December 11, 2010. Saeed Ahmed Saeed, Producer Current Affairs PTV, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Khalid Saleem, Member Managing Committee CIBES and Nusrat Mirza, Columnist Daily Jang, were also present as the Guests of Honour.
The competition comprised of four rounds and was held in two phases. In the first phase, eight teams from First Year classes contested. The team of Crescent II-Room clinched the first position. The students of Sapphire and Crescent I Rooms secured the second and third positions, respectively. In the second 'phase, there were seven teams from second year classes. The first position was clinched by the team of Altaf Agha Room, while the second and third positions were bagged by the teams of Toyota and Kaiser Rooms, respectively.
The Chief Guest applauded the potential and knowledge of the young students and gave them some useful advises about reading books and making constructive use of their time. In the end of the programme, college shields were presented to the Chief Gust and the Guests of Honour by the Principal CIBES, Cdr. Abdul Razaq (Retd) PN.-PR
