Sindh Katchi Abadi Authority (SKAA) has started utilising inter-net to bring rapid improvement in dealing with other departments of Sindh government. Director General SKAA, Irshad Ahmed Siddiqui while talking to Business Recorder here on Wednesday said that now its office is utilising inter-net for correspondence with other departments of the provincial government besides in-house internet correspondence.
Siddiqui said the manual correspondence is also going on besides internet correspondence but the results getting inter-net correspondence are outstanding, as it is time saving for official work. The manual correspondence reaches at the desired place taking quite time, while some times they have gone missing and sometimes they are missed by the postman which create much problems and wasting enough time on unnecessary works. He informed that around 24 inter-net connections have been provided in the department for correspondence. Another official of SKAA said that all the extensive and comprehensive statistics, would be updated on the website in a month, which would increase the access of common man to the data directly from anywhere.
