President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), Shahid Naseem Khokhar has appreciated the efforts of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for providing excellent facilities to taxpayers such as e-filing of tax-returns and other services, aimed at promoting tax culture and bolstering economic growth in the country.
In a press statement issued here on Thursday, Khokhar said that being a representative of the business community of Southern Punjab, he is justified in appealing extension of date for one month (till January 31st, 2011) for filing e-tax returns to enable MCCI members and business community file returns easily. The entire community is busy on account of Muharram-ul-Haram. He said that the relaxation would help traders and save them from anxiety and tension.
