Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday said that there was still the possibility of talks with JUI-F. Talking to media after attending Hussainia Conference jointly organised by Anjuman Saqafat-e-Pakistan and Islamic Media, he said that Maulana had remained one of the main coalition partners of the government through thick and thin. He acknowledged Fazel-ur-Rehamn's role in mainstream politics.
To a question he didn't ruled out the possibility of talks with other political parties including PML-Q. Referring to the challenges being faced by the country, he said that everyone should be on board to cope with these challenges. He said they had invited Nawaz Sharif to the banquet being hosted in the honour of Chinese Premier at President's House. Condemning terrorism he said anti-state elements wanted to sow the seeds of hatred among Muslims through terrorist attacks on innocent people of the country.
