Cold wave likely in Northern Areas

Fresh cold wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country during the next 24 hours. Meteorological department on Monday has forecast mainly dry and cold weather in the country, while foggy conditions would prevail in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sukkur and Peshawar divisions during the next week.
During last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. A severe cold wave gripped mountain areas causing temperature in Skardu to drop to minus 9.8 degree celsius. The minimum temperature in Lahore was three-degree celsius on Monday, while humidity in the morning was 85 percent. The sunrise on Tuesday would be at 6:56 am.
