Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan might be enjoying incomparable success at the box-office but the actor has plunged himself in some legal trouble after Indian Police issued him a chalan.
Varun has proven himself after giving two back to back blockbusters 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and 'Judwaa 2,' which grossed more than 100 crores in this crucial time of Indian cinema when big superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s latest movies failed at box office.
However, this Bollywood star has found himself in trouble after posing with a fan while Varun was driving his car. The picture was taken after the ‘Student of the Year’ actor was stuck in traffic and a girl, who was sitting in a rickshaw right beside his car, asked for a photo. Varun came out through the car window for the ‘dangerous selfie’ whilst on the road and this act did not go that well with the Mumbai Police that and reprimanded the actor on social media.
Is Alia Bhatt the reason behind Varun Dhawan’s break up?
"These adventures surely work on the silver screen but certainly not on the roads of Mumbai! You have risked your life, your admirer’s [life] and a few others. We expect better from a responsible [Mumbai resident] and youth icon like you! An E-Challan is on the way to your home. Next time, we will be harsher," wrote the police from their official Twitter account.

The actor immediately responded to the tweet by issuing an apology.
My apologies 🙏 Our cars weren’t moving since we were at a traffic signal and I didn’t want to hurt the sentiment of a fan but next time I’ll keep safety in mind and won’t encourage this. https://t.co/MEJk56EksG

On work front, Varun will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar's 'October' and Sharat Katariya's 'Sui Dhaaga' alongside Anushka Sharma.
