Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour said that the affairs of Awami National Party (ANP) are being run smoothly and no differences have ever been cropped up among the party leadership. In a statement issued here Friday, the minister said that he along with other party leaders always reposed confidence in the able leadership of the party President Asfandyar Wali Khan.
The minister said the ANP has been successfully fighting militancy and rendered numerous sacrifices of its leaders as well as the workers and all this could never have been possible without unity among the party leadership. Bilour said it is due to the efficient leadership that Awami National Party is ruling in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is coalition partner in Balochistan and Sindh.
He said under the efficient leadership of Asfandyar Wali Khan, the ANP has achieved a lot during the government and above all, the longstanding demand of the people to rename the province as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, scrapping of Kalabagh Dam project and provincial autonomy have been fulfilled. The Minister said the next party elections will also be held under the dynamic leadership of Asfandyar Wali Khan and assured that he would be the first to propose Asfandyar Walis's name as party head.-PR
