Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information and Archives Sharmila Farooqui has said that the killers of Benazir Bhutto would be brought to justice very soon. Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club along with the office-bearers of PPP Youth and Ladies wings, Sharmila said that PPP caravans would leave for Garhi Khuda Bux on December 26 from Mazar-e-Quaid to participate in ceremony of Benazir's death anniversary.
She said that the main caravan of PPP workers would leave for Garhi Khuda Bux from Mazar-e-Quaid at 11:00am on December 26. She said the BB was a sign of democracy, adding that there is a need to strengthen democratic process in the country for which BB gave her blood.
Meanwhile, in statement issued here she said the government was committed to protect the rights of minorities on priority basis. Congratulating the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas she said that Quaid-e-Azam wanted a strong Pakistan through positive politics and reconciliation, hence President Asif Ali Zardari was following his vision. The PPP government wanted to make Pakistan strong as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, he added.
