Low pressure of gas continues

Low pressure of gas in the city continued for the third day. The unavailability of gas on Friday forced the people to take to streets. They disrupted traffic and chanted slogans against the government and the SNGPL. People of Gawalmandi came out on the Nisbet road and blocked it.
They burnt the tires and chanted slogans against the Punjab government. They demanded that gas should be restored in the constituency of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Similarly, protests were held in other areas of Lahore including Samnabad, Icchra, Mozang. Residents of the areas of Sabzar on Multan Road, Township, Thokker Niaz Baig, Icchra, Canal View, Johar Town, Township, Green Town, Faisal Town, WAPDA Town, Garden Town and Gulshane Ravi, Cantt and Defence complained about the low pressure.
