Shahzain Bugti's arrest: Nawaz phones Gilani, Raisani

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday made telephonic contacts with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and requested them to deal with Shahzain Bugti's matter cautiously due to its sensitivity.
Nawaz in his conversation with PM requested him to intervene and take necessary steps in view of sensitive nature of the matter. Expressing his concern, Nawaz hoped that the premier would take immediate steps using democratic means. The PML-N chief in his talk with Balochistan Chief Minister requested him to play his role to tackle the situation amicably.
Nawaz further said that Balochistan situation demands extreme caution and such steps need to be avoided, which may aggravate the situation. He said there was democratic system in the country and democratic approach needs to be adopted to tackle any situation. He said civil authorities should not ignore the sensitive situation in Balochistan and carry out investigations as per legal requirements. He urged both the PM and CM Balochistan to show personal interest and tackle the situation amicably.
