A delegation led by Media Advisor to President of Iran and Managing Director of Iranian News Agency (IRNA) Ali Akbar Javanfekr, called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister's Secretariat on Saturday. Ambassador of Iran in Pakistan Mashallah Shakri, Iranian Consul General Ali Naikan and Zaeem Qadri MPA were also present on this occasion.
Matters of mutual interest as well as co-operation in various sectors were also discussed during the meeting. Talking to Iranian delegation, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Iran are brother Islamic countries and deep friendly relations are existed between both the countries. He said that Iran has always stood with Pakistan in every hour of trial and it has taken active part in the relief and rehabilitation activities of flood affected people during recent flood. He said that Iran and Punjab can start joint ventures for enhancing co-operation in various sectors. He expressed good wishes for the President and the people of Iran.
Media Advisor to President of Iran Ali Akbar Javanfekr talking on this occasion said that the friendly, trade and economic relations are existed between Iran and Pakistan which are further strengthening with the passage of time. He said that exchange of delegations of media is of great importance for further expanding these relations between both the countries.
