Russian gold firms produced 2.2 percent less of the precious metal in the first 11 months of the year compared with the same period of 2009, the Gold Industrialists' Union said on Monday. Total output in the January through November period was 185.5 tonnes, down from 189.6 tonnes a year ago. Mined output declined 1.4 percent, year-on-year, to 161.9 tonnes.
