Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Federal Minister for Housing and Works Rehmatullah Kakar refused to leave the ministry and privileges, a private TV channel reported on Thursday. According to the channel, when JUI (F) chief, Moulana Fazl parted ways with the ruling coalition, ministers belonging to JUI (F) tendered their resignations.
However, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Rehmatullah Kakar refused to leave the ministry was still enjoying government vehicles and other privileges. Commenting on the refusal of Rehmatullah Kakar to quit the ministry, JUI-F Secretary General Abdul Ghafoor Haidery said that Rehmatullah Kakar has no right to work as a minister. He has to obey the party's decision and party has issued him show cause notice in this regard, he added. However, Federal Minister for Housing Rehmatullah Kakar said that he had left his ministry and had not signed any documents after tendering his resignation, the channel further reported.
