NTL, Ufone sign agreement

Nadra Technologies Ltd (NTL) and Ufone have signed an agreement to give customers more options and places to enable them pay their utility bills at more than 11,000 'UShops' around the country. Deputy Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Tariq Malik and President Ufone, Abdul Aziz signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the masses, this was stated in a statement issued here on Thursday.
Malik, on this occasion, complimented Ufone management for their initiative and customer care preferences by entering into an agreement with NTL. He emphasised that is the tip of the iceberg and NTL is in the process of transforming it into a national smart service platform for e-commerce. Through this platform, he added, organisations can utilise e-Sahulat touch points for cash-in and cash-out transactions under branch-less regulations issued by State Bank of Pakistan. -PR
