Board of Revenue, Sindh has handed over 1,490 acres land to City District Government Karachi (CDGK) for its projects here on Wednesday. Officials at CDGK told Business Recorder that Board of Revenue Sindh has allotted the land to CDGK for various projects in which 1,070 acres of land allotted in Gadap Town for 12 projects and 420 acres of land allotted in Keamari Town for five other projects.
The projects include 50 acres land for Iron Market, 70 acres land for Electronic Market, 100 acres of land for warehouses, 100 acres of land for pipe factory, 250 acres of land for marble city, 60 acres of land for wholesale market, 50 acres for asphalt plant, 100 acres for timber market, 75 acres for car showrooms, 50 acres for paper market, 75 acres for cloth market, 150 acres for truck stand, 50 acres for cold storage, 100 acres for furniture market, 100 acres for slaughter house, 50 acres for Kabari Market and 60 acres for Anaj Market.
