NAB arrests 2 bank defaulters

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sindh, on Friday arrested two directors of ARK Garments Industries (Pvt) Ltd on allegation of wilful default of Rs 174 million. According to NAB (Sindh), Anwar Ahmed Rajwani and Salman Karim Rajwani were engaged in the business of garments manufacturing as ARK Garments Industries (Pvt) Ltd.
They availed financial facility of Rs 174 million from National Bank of Pakistan in 1985, and then defaulted. A reference against them was filed in the Accountability Court Karachi and on issuance of non-bailable warrants by the court both were arrested. They will be produced on Saturday before the Accountability Court, Karachi, for remand.
