DPS holds dental health awareness programme

08 Jan, 2011

Inline with its policy for better child development, Dawood Public School (DPS) organised a three-day dental health awareness programme for the students of primary section at its premises. More than 800 girl students were educated about the dental health issues in order to sensitise them about the hazards of dental illness.
The programme was composed of a demonstration of the correct methods of brushing the teeth and the hazards of improper brushing or no brushing at all. Brushing charts were distributed among the students to colour the sun when they brush in the morning, and the moon, when they brush at night. Later a dental check-up of each student was carried out and a Twinkle Twinkle Health card was handed over to each of them stating their dental condition and expert advice.-PR
