Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah has said that conspirators behind the murder of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer will be exposed soon. Talking to newsmen after visiting the grave of late Salman Taseer here on Sunday, he said that his blood would not go waste.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was sacrificing for democracy and the country and the list of its sacrifices had grown after the death of Taseer, who was an asset to the party.
He said that the PPP workers could not be demoralised by such acts, adding that it had improved their determination.
The Chief Minister said that Pakistan was made for everyone who lived in the country added that everybody had the right of expression here.
Earlier, he laid a wreath on the grave and offered Fateha for late Salman Taseer. GB Food Minister Muhammad Jaffar, GB Local Government and Rural Development Minister Engineer Muhammad Ismail, Advisor to GB CM Sadia Durrani and PPP Lahore leader Zahid Bashir were also present.
