Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has given a national agenda with a positive approach for mitigating the sufferings and solution of the problems of the common man. He said that there could not be a better agenda for elimination of corruption, strengthening of democratic system, national solidarity and resolving public problems.
He was talking to media after visiting the under-construction forensic lab near Thokar Niaz Beg Saturday. The Chief Minister said that Mian Nawaz Sharif does not want any public office and has presented this agenda in the national interest and with complete sincerity for solution of people's problems. He said that complete support would be extended to anyone implementing this agenda.
He said that the agenda given by PML-N, is aimed at elimination of corruption, removal of corrupt elements from their offices, formation of parliamentary committee over corruption scandals and action against the elements who got loans of billions of rupees written off on political basis. He said that it is unfortunate that the elements that got their loans written off on political basis still have palatial houses, luxurious cars and factories and failure to recover this money from them is complete negation of the aim of elimination of poverty and unemployment as well as a joke with the nation.
