Lectures on Indus Valley civilisation

American professors from Harvard and New York Universities, currently visiting Pakistan, will deliver lectures on various facets of Indus Valley Civilisation at the Department of Archaeology, University of Punjab on Friday, 14th January 2011 at 10:30 AM.
Professor Richard Meadow will deliver lecture on "Animals in the Indus Civilisation" and Professor Rita Wright will speak on "The Harappan Region as seen from the Bias Survey." Both professors have already undertaken field expeditions with American and Pakistani archaeologists in different regions of Pakistan.
Dr Farzand Masih, Chairman, Department of Archaeology will introduce the subjects of both the experts and Professor Dr Qalb-i-Abid, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities will preside over the special lecture session and will conclude the proceedings.
