The High Commissioner of Pakistan to India on Friday called on the Minister for Interior Rehman Malik and briefed him about the progress on the Judicial Commission, which Pakistan is to send to India in connection of Mumbai terrorist attacks. The Interior Minister informed about the readiness of Pakistan to send the Commission India.
The Minister for Interior sent a message of goodwill and assurance of co-operation to Indian Interior Minister and expected that both the countries will remove bottlenecks related to terrorists involved in terrorism across the borders.
The Minister for Interior expressed his grave concern over the growing Hindu extremism as widely reported in the Indian media. The minister was of the view that it has now become of paramount importance that both the countries cooperate with each other for the security of the region.-PR
