DDWP approves four development schemes

The Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) has approved four non-funded schemes at a cost of rupees eight million under 'big city package' and called upon the concerned officers to complete these within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was held with Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain in the chair, who directed officers of Water and Sanitation Agency, FDA, Parks and Horticulture Agency, Prov. Buildings and Highways to complete development projects related to the welfare of general masses.
The meeting approved sewerage schemes of Wasa for Mohalla Awais Nagar, Muzaffar Colony, Aziz Town, Abdullah Colony Chaki Chowk to Namatabad to Abbas Nagar, Bismilla Chowk to road via block A and remoulding of completion of uncompleted portion of FDA roads. It approved schemes of PHA of Faisalabad, worth about rupees six million. Improvement of Kaleem Shaheed parks, establishment of Shahbaz Park GM Abad, development of Jinnah Park and work on other parks of the city is also included in these schemes. The meeting also approved schemes worth Rs 17 million for provision of drinking water facilities in Raheem Town, Ali Housing and lining of Sarwala Rajbah Faisalabad.
