With the slogan to save Pakistan, Muttahida Muslim League (MML) is all set to launch its mass contact drive from February 5, to protest against the policies of the government. MML will hold public meeting in Lahore on February 5 to apprise the public about challenges posed to the country, MML leader Sheikh Anwer Saeed said.
According to him, MML is in contact with Tehreek-e-Insaf, PPP (Sherpao), Jamaat-e- Islami, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and public interest strategy would be soon put forward in co-ordination with the said parties. He said, "Pakistan is passing through its critical phase and the MML's mass contact movement is aimed at saving Pakistan."
The MML's meeting held under the convenership of Salim Saifullah, senior leaders of MML-Hamid Nasir Chattha, Humayun Akhtar Khan, Kashmala Tariq, Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood, Ejaz-ul-Haq, Sheikh Rasheed, Ghulam Abbas, Syed Qalandar Hussain Shah reaffirmed that corruption by corrupt leadership would not be tolerated.
