PIA-Turkish Airlines record: management to take all steps in interest of country

The National Flag Carrier's management will take every step in the best interest of the airline and the country. This was stated by Managing Director PIA, Captain Muhammad Aijaz Haroon while talking to the officers and Staff of the airline at Islamabad. He said that he has always preferred to protect the employees' rights' and that he was also working for regularisation of daily wages employees.
Vested elements were trying to create issues from non-issues to gain political mileage. He further said that PIA's revenue rose to Rs 108 billion from 70 billion in 2010. PIA has top professionals who are working day and night for the progress of the airline. "We will soon introduce new destinations or increase flights in the East to expand our network mainly to compete with other airlines," He added. Talking about the proposed PIA-Turkish Airlines Record of Discussion, he said, the proposal if accepted by the two governments would help in expansion of our network through code sharing with Turkish Airlines and to increase our profitability.-PR
