Ski team meets Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar

Pakistan ski team, which has won gold, silver and bronze medals in the various events of first South Asian Winter Games held in India, recently, called on Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, who is the Patron-in-Chief of the Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP), here on Friday. He awarded Rs 500,000 each to the medal winners.
Miss Ifrah Wali won gold in Giant Slalom, Miss Amina Wali grabbed two silvers in Slalom and Giant Slalom and Mir Nawaz Jnr bagged silver and a bronze in Slalom and Giant Slalom respectively. While appreciating the players' performance in the Games, Air Chief stressed that the federation expects the players to continue working hard to bring laurels for the country in the future as well. He further added that the Federation would continue supporting players on the basis of their performance and achievement of milestones in professional Skiing events.-PR
