Tough decisions to overcome energy crisis: 'government in active consultation with political parties'

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Syed Naveed Qamar has said tough decisions would have to be taken to surmount the energy crisis and to control evasion of taxes. The government is in active consultation with all political parties in this regard, he added.
This he said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a medical dispensary on Sunday, built at a cost of Rs8.5 million in village Wasee Malook Shah in Tando Muahmmad Khan district.
He said the government of Pakistan People's Party was bravely confronting all challenges including war against terrorism, financial crisis and rehabilitation of floods affectees. Naveed reiterated that the PPP government was following the politics of reconciliation despite acrimony among some of its partners.
