CJCSC meets Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Khalid Shameem Wynne who is on an official visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spent a busy day here at Riyadh meeting top civil and military leadership. The most important meeting of the day was with the Crown Prince, Defence Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
During the meeting, the crown prince reiterated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have deep-rooted relations and they will always stand by their brothers. The CJCSC thanked the crown prince for his kind words and wished him good health. He also wished early recovery and good health to the custodian of two holy mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
General Wynne also held a separate meeting with Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant to Minister of Defence, and discussed various matters relating to future bilateral co-operation. Highlighting the time tested and enduring bonds of friendship between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, Prince Khalid underscored importance for further enhancing defence co-operation between the two countries.
Earlier, on arrival at General Staff Headquarters, the CJCSC held a collective meeting with Chief of General Staff, General Saleh Bin Ali Bin Muhammad Al-Mohayya, along-with all services chiefs of Saudi Armed Forces, and discussed various means to enhance bilateral defence co-operation between the armed forces of the two countries.
