The demand and supply gap of electricity remained 16,00MW as it was in last 24 hours with improving weather conditions in the country. Power generation remained 10,463MW against a demand of 12,089MW, leaving the consumers to suffer a gap of 1,628MW. Power generation through hydel remained 3,137MW, followed by thermal 2,126MW, IPPs 5,138MW and RPPs 62MW. Supply to Karachi Electric Supply Company, however, improved to 710MW on Tuesday.
