Exhibition 'Made in Gujranwala' can facilitate SMEs

The exhibition "Made in Gujranwala" is a big initiative which can facilitate small and medium enterprises to effectively display their products for marketing at national and international level. According to the FPCCI spokesman, the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Chairman Mian Muhammad Tariq Shafi stated this while leading a 15-member delegation at the Gujranwala Business Center.
Chaudhry Aamer Ata Bajwa Vice President, Khawaja Khawar Rashid, Manzoor-ul-Haq Malik, Tahir Malik, Osama Hass'an Yousuf, Anwaar A. Sheikh and other prominent businessmen were also present on the occasion. The Regional Chairman said the exhibition would help increase exposure of the local business community to international business trends. It provides an opportunity to have first hand knowledge regarding the standards of the contemporary products besides general compliance with international trade regulatory regime, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Aamer Ata Bajwa stressed the need for increasing the exports volume, which is only possible through industrial revolution. He, however, said the government must facilitate the industry and resolve the issues including power shortage, which can enhance productivity process all the time. At this occasion Chairman Gujranwala Business Center Sheikh Muhammad Ali briefed the delegation about the exhibition objectives. He urged the FPCCI, being the biggest representing body of the business community, to play its role for the economic stability in the country.
