Oath taking ceremony of newly appointed Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Pir Karam Ali Shah will be held on Saturday, official sources said. All arrangements are being finalised to hold the function in a befitting manner in city Gilgit, the capital town of the region, officials of the Secretariat said.
The Chief Judge of the Supreme Appellate Court will administer the oath to the newly appointed Governor who is preparing to take the responsibilities of the new office. The Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan is reviewing the arrangements being made at Chinar Bagh, Gilgit, the sources added.
