Fashion Weeks have become a kind of business in capital city, which connects buyers, designers in a glamorous world of style and beauty to propose business and celebrate beauty, simultaneously. On the second day of fashion week, the designers and fashion houses like Shaiyanne Malik, Bisma Ahmed -UAE, Lawrencepur and Rehana Saigol displayed their work.
Overall around 20 designers and brands including Ammar Belal, Rehana Saigol, Kamiar Rokni, Nilofer Shahid, FNK Asia, Envogue, Deeba and Zoe, Shafaq Habeeb, Sharifah Kirana, BNS Couture, Lawrencepur, Shaiyanne Malik, Sanam, Abhishek Kochhar, Chinyere, Gift University, Iqra University, SNS, Bizma Ahmed, Metro, Priyanka Bhansal and Aslam Khan with high profile make-up artists and choreographers are participating in the event.
Known as city of bureaucrats and diplomats, the capital city is not-so-fashion-groomed till to date. But now it is gearing up for this four-day grand fashion extravaganza 'Islamabad Fashion Week' in the history of fashion industry.
Aim of holding this fashion show is to introduce Pakistan's fashion industry to both domestic and international buyers. It also provides opportunities to the young entrepreneurs in the creation of effective business links and widening the international network of local fashion.
Most of the participants of fashion week include those whose scope of production is related to fashion accessories government and private organisers are the co sponsors of the event, while Excellent Events and Entertainment (Pvt) Limited (Triple-E) has organised the show. Leading name in fashion industry Tariq Amin is the consultant of the show who introduced the concept of 'Style' in Pakistan. The organisers said Business Recorder group also participated in organising the fashion.
