'Private sector should be encouraged to make Hajj arrangements'

Senator, Abdul Haseeb Khan has said private sector should be encouraged to make Hajj arrangement for Pakistani people. Speaking at a reception organised for Hujjaj, he suggested that role of the government in Hajj planning should be minimised due to increasing complaints from Hujjaj, he added.
He advised private sector's Hajj organisers to propose ways to improve Hajj programme and point out lacking in Hajj programme organised by the government so that this issue could be taken up at Senate level. Khan praised some private Hajj organisers for managing Hajj affairs efficiently and asked them to provide guidelines for rectification of loopholes in Hajj arrangements. He appreciated Haji Siddique Meher Illahi Hajj Group for making excellent Hajj arrangement. Director Hajj Affairs, Abdul Sattar Samtio said that Hajj directorate cares for more than 65,000 Hujjaj who perform Hajj every year. He assured that all staff at directorate would perform their duties in best possible way in the future.
