Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) Lahore has urged the government to immediately withdraw the decision of imposing 3.5 percent withholding tax on agricultural produce. In a joint statement here on Saturday, KBP Lahore President Mian Muhammad Rasheed Minhala, General Secretary Sardar Irfan Ullah and Vice-President Bashir Ahmad Padhaiana said that imposition of this withholding tax was a proof of anti-farmer policies of the present government.
