Two workers killed as portion of a factory collapsed

At least two workers were killed on Saturday, when a portion of a garment factory collapsed in the limits of SITE police station, following the drizzle in the metropolis. According to police, two workers were killed and two other injured when an old partition of garment factory located in SITE fell on them when they were busy in work.
They said the incident happened soon after the city received first spell of winter rain. When contacted, DSP Muhammad Zahid, said that an old back partition of garment factory fell on four workers namely Muhammad Jawed, 22, Noorullah, 40 son of Alam, Masood and Nizamuddin when they were working in the backside of the factory. He said that Jawed and Noorullah were seriously injured in the incident and succumbed to injuries during treatment.
