Goharullah, President of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (HCCI), while speaking at an address to the traders, business community and members of Muslim Cloth Merchant Union, Hyderabad said that he will not leave the traders' community alone at this crucial testing time. The traders, in-fact, have the right reserved to ponder at all options for resolving the problems confronting them, he said.
HCCI president further said that he had called representatives of all trade bodies of the city at HCCI office and as they pointed out their problems, relevant heads of government departments were asked to get these resolved in an appropriate and befitting manner. Speaking on the occasion, Former President of HCCI, Haji Muhammad Yaqoob said that the reservations of cloth traders against tax procedure are reasonably justifiable. Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and HCCI have put forward these reservations and suggestions to the government for consideration. He reiterated that the doors of HCCI are always open for the business community at all the time.
Earlier, Abdul Razzaque Chohan, President of Muslim Cloth Merchant Union, Hyderabad welcomed Goharullah and requested HCCI president to look into the problems of the business community and eradicate hurdles and bottlenecks being faced. He pledged that 600 traders of the grand cloth market are with the President HCCI. Ziauddin, Vice President HCCI and Haji Shareef also addressed the meeting.
During the meeting, fateha khuwani was also offered for the deceased mother of Muhammad Ikram Rajput, former vice president and convenor of Wali Bhai Rajputana Hospital. Later, HCCI president conducted the opening ceremony of water filtration plant of Muslim Cloth Merchant Union.
