At least three persons were killed in separate mishaps at different parts of metropolis on Wednesday. A father of three kids on Wednesday committed suicide in his house at North Karachi in the jurisdiction of Sir Syed police station. According to police, the victim, who was identified as Mahmood Khan, 45, son Mehboob Khan, committed suicide by hanging himself with rope at ceiling.
They said the victim, who was the resident of Allied Apartment sector 11-A North Karachi, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem. Furthermore the police said the victim was the father of three children and unemployed for last three months. They said his body was taken by his family without completing legal formalities.
In another incident, a man was electrocuted in an under construction factory in the limits of Korangi Industrial area police station. Police said the victim, who was identified as Shakeel, 32, son of Bagh Ali, received electric shocks and died immediately, during working in an under construction factory located at Korangi Industrial area. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). Police said the victim, who was the resident of Nazimabad, was an electrician by his profession.
A man crushed to death while other injured at Super Highway in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. The deceased Babul son of Abdul Qadir was going with his friend Imran on his motorcycle, when they reached near Al Asif check post a speedy passenger bus bumped them, resultantly Babul died on the spot while Imran sustained severe wounds.
